Dave Brown, President

Dave Brown is a former U.S. youth national team player and the visionary behind Virtual FĂștbol Academy (VFA). With over a decade of leadership in coach education and player development, Dave has built programs that blend innovation, accessibility, and high performance.

In 2017, Dave founded the RC Celta Academy in Philadelphia, bringing world-class Spanish training to American soil. Today, he leads VFA—a global coaching ecosystem combining expert mentoring, leading-edge digital tools, and the FESPI mindset framework—to empower the next generation of coaches and athletes worldwide.

Khalil Masso, Co-Founder

Guided by faith and grounded in family, Khalil Masso grew up playing all sports — from baseball and basketball to soccer, football, and boxing. He has spent over a decade coaching youth sports, including basketball, soccer, tee-ball, travel baseball, and in-house teams.

The statistic that 70% of kids quit youth sports by age 13 inspired Khalil to invest in the Virtual Futbol Academy (VFA), where we partnered with UCAM to help coaches create better, more engaging experiences. A big believer in education, Khalil draws from the work of Dr. Amanda Visek and Carol Dweck on the Growth Mindset, and from UEFA professionals who designed The Art and Science of Coaching FĂștbol course to share their techniques, tactics, and session design methods with coaches worldwide.

Sports have always been a constant in his life, and he believes in their power to inspire growth on and off the field.
